1878 Weather Station (BLC)
Though originally established as a one story building in 1873, it was moved in 1878 to the pictured location and a second floor was added. After 1900, a third floor was added (as pictured). The workers and function the facility provided was moved to the 1918 structure when gunnery practice began to affect its sensitive instruments. Though at one time located near the pilot's tower, the building no longer exists.
